Hints and Tips Your wedding photos capture (for a lifetime) the wonderful moments of your
wedding day. Here's a few ways of ensuring they are the best they can be...
Choose a photographer whose work reflects the style and quality you want,
and who makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.
Give your photographer a list of the different groups you want photographed
following your ceremony. Especially useful with large or extended families,
this will reduce stress and get you on the road for your location photos quicker.
A well stocked esky, including plenty of water and nibblies, will keep you going
until you get to the reception.
A spray bottle of water helps keep your bouquets looking fresh all day.
Blotting tissues help get rid of unwanted shiny patches. Check with your
makeup artist as to the best thing to use.
Bring jackets for the bridesmaids in case it turns cool (summer too!).
If rain is imminent, be sure to bring some large golf-style umbrellas.
Not only will they keep you dry, but they make great props for the photos.
A cloudy day means no shadows under the eyes or squinting into the sun,
so don't panic, photographers love them!
Bring a little bag to carry some of the following (you just might need them!):
scissors - needle and thread - face powder and lippy - band-aids
(or wear your shoes in before the wedding) and a hanky or tissues.
If you have littlies coming with you for the photos, bring snacks and something
for them to do during the times they’re not needed in the photos.
