Pregnancy
For your pregnancy portrait session, be sure not to have any elasticised waist bands
or underwear for at least an hour before the shoot to avoid marks on your skin.

We recommend you take time to do your hair and makeup - it's not just the belly that get photographed!

Pregnancy portraits aren't automatically going to be nude photos, so find one or two outfits that you feel
really good in for some variety in your photos. We are happy to help you out with your wardrobe once we
are there if you get really stuck.

Babies and Children
Newborn portraits are best done after a sleep but routines don't often exist when babies are very young...
just choose the best time for you and we will work around your needs. Feel free to feed your baby if you
need to - if you feel comfortable, this is always a lovely photographic opportunity!

Very young babies will need to be cuddled and held which means, you will be in the
photos too....think about hair, makeup and your wardrobe (that means you too Dads!)
as this will have an impact on your images.Have a couple of outfits for your baby to
get some variety in the photos - a popular choice is the Huggies only look!

Consider bringing something to entertain the kids when doing location photos.
Children can get bored quickly during a portrait session and a ball to play with on
the beach for example, is a good way of mixing some fun into it for them.
Other ideas might include, bubble mixture, a spade and bucket or even the old
favourite...food.
